… 12 years ago FMP Technology was successfully spun off from the University of Erlangen by Prof. Durst. Since then, products have been developed in the fields of coating and drying technology as well as injection nozzle technology for internal combustion engines.
In 2017, FMP Technology GmbH started a restructuring process within the company, with the help of which the company with university character will be transferred into a medium-sized company. I would like to take up this challenge with my employees and take this opportunity to introduce myself to you as the new Managing Director of FMP Technology. Having already worked for the company from 2008 to 2012 and after my work for KROENERT GmbH & Co. KG, I am happy to be able to return to the origin of my industrial activities. I am particularly pleased that Mr. Durst will continue to support the company in an advisory capacity.
What does that mean for you as a customer?
On its way to becoming a medium-sized company, FMP will focus on offering processes in the areas of coating (with the main focus on slot die technology) and drying technology. The offer package ranges from a well-founded process analysis to the execution of feasibility studies to the delivery of a solid mechanical engineering. The process should be transparent and understandable for you. FMP Technology GmbH will position itself flexibly in the distributor design of the nozzle in order to offer you, the customer, the best solution.
I have full confidence in the manufacturing competence of FMP Technology GmbH which has been developed in the last years. The same is true for the drying process, which for many is still some kind of black box in which we now want to bring light.
A well-founded process analysis, feasibility studies, the supply of solid dryers and a cooperative partnership during commissioning is the declared commitment of FMP Technology GmbH.
